Spring 2021 Updates

Hello Northridge Little League Fans and Former and/or Current Families,

Registration for the Spring 2021 Season is still open, and is now up to just over 100 players total.  There are enough players for a couple teams in most divisions, and the practices have begun for most divisions and are off to a great start. It sure has been nice to enjoy the great weather, to hear the crack of the bats, to see the kids outdoors being active, at our beloved Brooktree Park.

Now the big news, for this season, Little League International has granted all chartered Little Leagues the opportunity to waive Tryouts and Tryout attendance requirements, regardless of rulebook and bylaws, while still allowing registered players to be eligible to draft. Northridge Little League is choosing to take advantage of this. This means that Tryouts for the Minor Division through Junior Division originally scheduled for the next few Saturdays have been taken off of the schedule. The registered players will instead be assessed, during ongoing practices, with the plan to draft teams by late March. For the Farm, Tee Ball, and Challenger Divisions, currently scheduled Team Meetings are still postponed until February 27th, or until we have enough players to field multiple teams.

Registration is available on our website, www.northridgebaseball.com. Create an account, or log in, if you already have an account, and you should be able to register online with ease. Early Bird discount has been extended through February, and there are also still scholarships of all or part of the registration amount available.  Registrations will remain open until March 13th; please reach out if you need assistance registering, or have any questions.
